Now, having read all of the thread comments, you have to ask yourself the question, "Why would anyone pony up $50,000 or more to open up a new train shop and take the risk of not being able to make enough money to live on?" <br /> <br />Some guys really know how to encourage investment in locally owned and operated retail stores. IMHO Tracklayer's opening comments and the thread title itself may cause potential train shop investors to shy away. There may be some very good folks that will be discouraged from from starting such a venture.
