If you've been out of Nscale that long. Kadee has turned into MicroTrains. Use their store finder for a decent LHS in your area. They should be in every decent LHS that carries N scale. Atlas uses Accumates. Kato has their own brand. You may find Precision Masters/ Red Caboose unimates. Don't bother with MDC couplers. Even the ugly but free Rapidos are better than them.

KADEE & MICRO-TRAINS ae accutally the same company, but they split into 2 seperate companys, sometime in the late 90s. The first one is still called KADEE, for Keith And Dale Edwards, the brothers that founded it. KADEE made and still makes HO couplers and rolling stock, & the 2nd company is called MICRO-TRAINS and they make N scale couplers and rolling stock.
