[/quote] Too true of CERTAIN vendors, maybe it's best that only experienced modelers shop the train shows...there are a lot of very good deals, especially on buildings and freight cars, and if one is worried about locomotives, many 'private' non-commercial vendors [ MRR clubs and overstocked hobbyists ], now have test tracks set up. regards \ Mike
