Anyway, I first did the lighter rust color. That is a mix of 2-3 parts yellow ochre, 1 part vermillion red, and 1 part burnt umber. I really just kinda winged it, but the color came out good once put onto the model, so I went with it. After the lighter rust areas were dry, I used straight burnt umber for the dark spots.
