I model three railroads. The SSW KCS and ATSF pre merger years. The SSW is a 4x8 layout based on the common branch lines of the Cotton Belt. It hauls mostly grain. era 1996 The KCS is based on KCS's Dallas TX district. It is a 4x7 shelf layout that hauls general manafest. era 1996 - 2002 The ATSF is a 8x12x8 layout inthe shape of a C. Its based on the Lampasas Sub. A 241 mile main line that runs between Temple TX to Sweetwater TX. The railroad hauls manifest, grain, and TOFC. era 1990 - 1994
