Television is perhaps the best form of media to promote the world of model railroading and the real prototype. I wonder if new episodes of "Tracks Ahead" will come about. Does anyone know if this will happen?

So this will be on Fox at 6:30 a.m. Eastern time. That's 5:30 a.m. in Chicago, 4:30 a.m in Denver, and THREE THIRTY IN THE MORNING on the West Coast. Will there be rebroadcasts of the feature during the time that actual people are up and about?

National television is nice, but it's better if it's at a time when someone is watching.

Its great its on tv but I wish it was on later in the day. We have a new puppy and I have to watch her at night so I don't get to bed until early morning. A time slot on a national news program say the 5 to 6 o'clock time period would get a lot more viewers.

Well...was the spot really worthwhile? Having viewed it, I suppose that if you believe any plug at all has some advantage then this was a plus. However, from the public's standpoint I'd guess that it was probably all but worthless.

The segment lasted almost precisely 2 minutes by my watch. The air of the interview was rushed and strained and scale modeling probably received 30 seconds air-time. Given the hour and that you could have missed the whole thing by going to get a second cup of coffee, this plug for the World's Greatest Hobby was a waste in my book.
