$350 on books and magazines each year
$450 on everything else including train shows.
Cheaper than therapy as my favorite hobby shop says.

Oh, I didn't really count trips and stuff in my estimate, nor magazine subscriptions I paid for three years at a time!

Starting FROM SCRATCH, wife is behind the effort. SO, since June 1, 2003 $3,500.00 and stll spending. When I did this in 1962 you coud have budget of $100..00/ mo and do well. Heck we spent $1,000.00 on just books and Basics!
