I added weight to the front pilot of the Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0. I used maleable tungsten that you can buy in a fishing supply store. I think the name of the stuff is Loon. You just use a flat head screwdriver, pry some of the stuff out of the can and carefully spread it on top of the tender. It comes in black and kind of a bronze color. Once applied, it can be painted. Worked for me. <br /> <br />I also would recommend checking the wheel gauges. Bachmann is notorious for shipping stuff with wheels out of gauge. ...Tom
