! <br /> <br />Rutland Paxton & Spencers locomotive #1180 (a doodlebug used in mixed train service <br />Has derailed south of Rutland Mass <br /> <br />A washout along the Quinaboag River turned the line into oblivion <br /> <br />As the locomotive rounded the curve out of the Roonsic forest it encountered the line <br /> <br />The doodlebug fell off and into the river <br /> <br />Currrently crews are using a Crane borrowed from Guilford Rail to bing the locomotive back onto trax <br /> <br />Service shall be upheld for at the very most a week <br /> <br />1180 there only locomotive hauled the local freights <br />without her no freight can come through <br /> <br />RP&S is trying to work out a deal with guilford for a GP40 although commuters unfortunately will possibly lose service <br /> <br />"1180 is a classic car, Wwe need her and in no way are we to let her go" <br /> <br />
