anyone up for a plastic K27or 36?

i would like to see a company like bachmann come out with a reasonably priced
model of one of the K-class loco's.with the level of detail we have been seeing in the last few years, i think it would be a great idea.so what about it a O scale k27?

O? They should produce it in 1:20 G Guage using their Consolidated 2-8-0 chassis as a base, sell it for around the same $ as the Consolidated , They would sell Millions...

Well Thousands anyway......

I would think an On30 scale C-16 would be a cool one for Bachmann to make.

I think a Spectrum or P2K narrow gauge Mike would be a tremendous product and a great seller. I truly believe there would be a larger count of NG modelers if there were some engines available less expensive than the brass imports.

My LHS proprietor says Precision Scale is going to release plastic K-27s and K-28s in On3 and On30. Projected retail for the K-27 is supposed to be under $500.00 US.

Oh yeah!!!!

While you probably couldn't tell it from my postings, I am a big fan of the D&RGW narrow gauge, and the K-27's, K-36's, and K-37's are all on my top ten list. I model in three-rail O (uh-oh, now I've got to watch out for bullets shot by rivet-counters[:)][:D]), and some of those might get me to put in a narrow gauge line. In other words: I like the idea, big-time![:)][:D][yeah]
