Unique looking locomotives or cars

What are some of the more unique looking locomotives or cars you've come across. The ones that caught your interest and maybe you have considered buying, regardless if it fit with the rest of the stuff on your layout.

I came across one of those this evening while at my local hobby shop.

It was the Smokey Bear Caboose. The flames caught my attention and I thought it looked pretty cool. A bit different than the typical cabooses.

The one I like is CN's articulated grain car. This is a one of type of car as you can see from the link below. I haven't come across one so I decided to kit bash one. I'm not done yet but it looks close.

I found a 1960 NMRA boxcar at a local hobby shop.. for $3! It's silver, with dark blue lettering.

I bought a Union 76 gasoline tank car at a train show for real cheap. We don't have 76 gas in Kansas, but I see it every week on NASCAR and, well, I just had to have it. It's just something to break up the look of boxcars and coal hoppers all the time and I get to have a little bit of NASCAR related advertising on my railroad.

(and in case you're wondering: no, i haven't bought the Dale Earnhardt comemorative HO scale train set --- yet [;)])

A friend, who buys and restores houses, gave me a box filled with boxcars, tankers and passenger coaches all vintage 1960 or there abouts. Once I've refurbished them, you can bet a lot will be on my layout.

I have a special freight car for carrying over weight loads. It is a flat car with double trucks at each end to distribute weight over more axles. It is painted for the TTX company and I use it to transport a finished piece of equipment. The kit was produced by Athearn, I think. I generally avoid the unusual but this one caught my eye. - Ed

I like UP's streamlined steamturbine, only two were ever produced and were failures but golly, were they beautiful[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
