Has anybody tried or has seen how the new Tower 55 products run? Smooth, noisy, jerky.....?
I like the looks of them but the price is a little scary.
Thanks for the input, anybody.

You have to admit there better with price because have you seen the prices for the brass units? YIKE!!! 300$ for Tower 55 and close to a 1000$ for the same unit just brass! They also come with Ditch lights and cab interiors.
Those units also come with sound and DCC so I think the prices aren't bad. Plus they run beautifully.[:D]

Just received my UP ES44AC with DCC and Sound. A wonderful loco and beautiful detail. I think well worth the money. My layout isn't well suited for six axle units like this loco and would be much happier on a layout with a minimum of 24-26" radii. My layout is a small earlier era branchline with lots of tight radii, so it won't be a real great runner for me, at least on this layout. I can and do run it on my layout, but I bought it mostly because I simply liked it.

How did you get that model so early. They aren't expected for another 5 to 6 months?
