I talked to Life Like once about tooling cost on the average diesel, and they indicated that the average cost was around 100,000-200,000 bucks. A lot of money and a lot to invest unless you can recoup and then make a profit. This where ConCor screwed up. They were going to produce the ELECTROLINER, a really fantastic train that even I as an NYC fan would have bought as a collectors Item. I've always liked it and was hoping it would be a lot less than what they wanted. They couldn't recoup more than 60% of the tooling cost so we don't have the train and probably never will.[:(][:(][:(][V][V]
