Bachmann Seems to be doing a fair amount of development work at this time. From what I have observed I think They are trying to fill the void that Athearn Left when Horizon bought them out. They have Freight cars in $5-10 range, Locomotives in the $20.00-$30.00 range. And a sizable number of their locomotives available DCC equiped in the the $30.00-$40.00 range. However how bachmann has done this has been to revamp older tooling instead of doing the latest and Greatest. Currently GP30 35 &40 and FT and F-9s have been proudced in the range stated. However These are all tooling that Bachmann has uses since the late 1970s.

James
