I have an ancient Mantua 0-6-0 with tender.
I was wondering if anyone has some insight on what type of motor would be best to replace the origional motor with.
It's one of my dad's & I would like to see it run again
Thanks
Gordon

One of a few possibilities.
www.modelpower.com is now the successor manufacturer for mantua classics.
Try e-mailing them

Check teh Walthers Catalog for remotoring kits. Locomotion makes kits for at least 3 different Mantua 0-6-0's(Walthers p839)
