Walthers gets the close-but-no-cigar award on the Super Chief cars and locos. The pre-war 4-4-2 sleeper they have offered just doesn't cut it in modelling a post-1950 Super. A post-war "Regal"-class 4-4-2 would have allowed modelers to put together a prototypical train. Alas, short one car type. A shame when they produced 4 cars (all beautiful models) unique to the Super Chief, i.e., the dome lounge, 36-seat diner, dormitory lounge and observation lounge.
