Hi there.
This is my first post.
I have just started collecting and I am outting together an HO set, using mainly Bachmann and Atlas. Here is my question: I have just been given some switch tracks and controls - how do I know if they work and how do I conect them to the power supply? They were given to me with no instruction or wiring and I have tried a few variations but without success. For all I now, they may not work but I would appreciate any input.
Thanks.

Suggest you obtain a copy of book called the complete Atlas wiring book, which provides full details of all atlas track items and switches, what they are used for , and how to wire them up. When i started into model trains I found it very useful. Should be available from any train shop handling Atlas.
