Here's my version of the MDC Climax that SpaceMouse has: [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/railfan/Climax1.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/railfan/Climax2.jpg[/IMG] (click to enlarge) I modified the MDC model many, many years ago, following an article in either MR or RMC. The steam engine body was made to fit MDC's box cab diesel chassis, so the boiler sits way too high. I had to remove a lot of the cast white metal chassis, then lower the boiler and sides. I can't recall everything I did, but included opening the cab doors and placing curtains inside, adding lots of cut up wood everywhere, lots of tiny details, added opened vent on cab roof, syphon hose draped over tender, etc. Bob Boudreau
