Can anyone tell me who in Ontario sells and maybe installs decoders in Atlas and P2-P1 locos. I have the Atlas unit and would like to get a few locos up and running. Bob

Two places that I am fairly certain do installations are
Credit Valley Railway in Streetsville and
Hockley Valley RR in Orangeville.
(Hope this isn't advertising!)

I've bought a DN163A0 from:

http://www.customtrains-canada.com

But I did *not* have them install it.

I'm sure there are lots of places in Ontario, but if you don't mind shipping your items out - there is a good chap who does it through Central Hobbies in Vancouver. Here is their link, address your query to "Bill":

if you have the decoder that is ready for installation, then perhaps a member of your local model railroad club could install it ?
perhaps a booth / vendor at an area train show could also assist with this
I plan to go to DCC next year, so I'm not at the same point of modelling yet

cheers, krump

Canadasouthern -

What is your location? We have a great guy at our club who will put decoders in for a couple of dollars above the price of the decoder (which he also supplies). He can fix/change you lights too, and program the various functions as you wish. We are in eastern Ontario, near Ottawa.
