Typical of many Model railroaders. I buy what I like, and what fits the time period I am modeling. Some items get built shortly after purchase and installed on Layout. Ready to run, or previously used built rolling stock, locomotives usually get placed on Layout. Kits more likely to be inventoried and stored for future use and future larger layout. True you have to buy some items when you see them, or you may not find them again later. <br />Bob, SFSCRR.
