I found some vending machines via the Google image search, then "stole them" and load them into photoshop, with about a 300dpi, I then took a scale ruler, N scale for me, and made them about 7 foot tall, I did 6 foot but they looked to small. I then printed them out on photo paper/gloss (I have couple of reams, long story) and used the highest quality setting, and also tried colorsync. Both gave good results. Then glued them on some styrene strips, and used a permanent marker for the black. No computer magic, just print and glue [:)]
