If your looking for railroads which used to run through Maine, there's a few. The MEC (Maine Central), the B&M (Boston And Maine), I beleive Canadian National ran through parts of Maine, not positive. Nowadays, I'm not quite sure, I think the New England Central runs there and possibly CSX and Norfolk. For photos, etc, I would suggest going to your local library, they're almost sure to have something on the B&M or MEC. Also, the Conway Scenic Railroad, which is located in New Hampshire (North Conway) is a tourist type railroad which runs some old B&M, CN, and possibly MEC equipment. They've got some nice color photos on their website (www.conwayscenic.com). I suggest taking a trip up there, it's a nice ride, if your in the area. If you need any help I can dig some stuff out and E-mail it to you. My address is u505.5@mindspring.com, give me a shout. Good luck. <br />
