Member in a modelrailroadclub ? NEVER MORE, I swear it: NEVER, NEVER MORE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finished my membership after 17 years in July this year ! I read the reply written by trainnut 484 and I will say only one thing: 150 % the truth !!!! I was one of 80 members in a club, secretary in the board and was the real no. 3 in the club until I stay out. But there were to many that thinks that the club is their own property. And the politics and egos were real so thick you could cut them with a rotary arm saw. Politics and egos are for politicians. And nobody will stop them ! I was at a meeting for the last time in June and I don´t miss it. A little reason was also: I prefeer US RR´s and thats for many people here in Germany not easy to understand. I have now more time for my hobby´s[8D]
