Emeraldisle, <br /> <br />I have run Marklin for 30+ years. I recently dismantled a large Marklin layout (last month). I am now switching over to American 2 rail stuff, but will always have a spot in my heart for Marklin gear. I think that the quality of Marklin gear is fantastic, My only complaint is that there isn't enough US prototype...On my last layout I was running Marklin locos with American freight cars. I finally decided to switch over completely. I would be happy to e mail some pics of the layout if you are interested. <br /> <br />Guy Cantwell
