I once turned a N scale deer into a Z scale moose with dark brown paint . You should be able to get HO farm animals; an HO scale chicken with a paint job might pass for a N scale turkey. Try reforming the plastic into a turkey tail with a clean, slightly warm soldering iron; pull the plug before it gets too hot, or make a light dimmer fixture with an outlet to control the iron temperature, you want just emough heat to soften the plastic for reshaping.
