I have the articles that appeard in MR & Great Model Railroads from 1990 until the present. <br /> <br />There are few layouts that I look forward to features of as much as this one. One thing I really like is Eric Brooman mentions he doesn't have an unlimited hobby budget, and does very nice modeling in more economic ways than many. (kitbashes locomotives built on top of his old locomotive chassis, handmade turnout controls, etc.). <br /> <br />Get your hands on those articles, you'll enjoy them! <br /> <br />I had been away from the hobby for several years then saw the Dec 2003 issue with his recognizable layout on the cover. Within seconds, I was like, "Here I go again with this model railroading thing..."
