Anybody ordered from toytrainheaven.com???
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, October 29, 2005 3:13 PM
I was just wondering if anybody here has ever ordered from Toy Train Heaven based out of Pennsylvania? They appear to be a good retailer but I want to know if anybody has had any problems with them? Are they a good retailer to deal with or not, please reply.
Thanks.

This is the mail order division of Bowser and they are absolutely one of the very best to deal with. I have been dealing with them many years. Only problem is you cannot order online.

Excellent prices. Excellent shipping. Courteous and helpful on the phone. I buy a lot from them. Highly recommended.

I have used them, and as stated, their prices are good, and they ship quickly. However, if they are the online division of Bowser, how come there are no Bowser products listed in their print ads or online?

Bowser is online @ www.bowser-trains.com

Paul,

Not sure why. The English family owns the business. TTH is the mail order business. They also have the manufacturing business(Bowser),and I beleive they have a retail hobby shop there as well. I have ordered from them many times amd like others have said, they are real nice folks to deal with,
I suspect that they may not sell Bowser products at a 'discount' in competition with their supporting dealers. Walthers has a retail side(Terminal Hobby) and that is usually a 'full price' MSRP operation, even though it is in the same building as the Walthers warehouse. I suspect they do not discount as they would not want to irritate their dealer network as well.
