I have a P2K GP30 and GP7 and have two Atlas dual mode decoders to install. What is the proper procedure? On the GP30, where on the decoder does the wire that is grounded to the frame go? Thanks.

Jason;
In a word: don't. Save the Atlas dual mode decoders for Kato (but not theRS2/RSC2 including Kato powered Atlas, and Stewart), Atlas or Athearn Genesis.
The Atlas dual mode decoder will NOT fit in the P2K GP7 (and GP30?), with out milling the wieght/frame.
Use this decoder in your P2K GP7 and GP30 locomotives: TTX/GP7/30 - Tony's EXCLUSIVE
