Scale Speedometer Car and Test Track??
Posted by Morpar on Friday, January 24, 2003 11:33 PM
Anyone know of a source for an HO scale speedometer car? Something that would read your scale speed as it's rolling down the track. I remember seeing an article for one many years ago, but can't find anything now. Also, does anyone have a source for a test track for locomotives? What I'm thinking of is basically rollers that a loco rides on to break it in or check for problems while on the workbench. Any help would be gratly appreciated. Thanks, Morpar.

Good Luck, Morpar

For approx $70.00 + shipping, go to http://www.tonystrains.com/technews/toth.htm
A great site for just about everything/news too.

I generally turn my engine over, run two track wires to the pick-ups, throttle up .
I also use this method for cleaning drivers with MAAS
