Call me the odd man out. I can't say I think much of the old F units. Probably becasue nearly every train set I had as a kid, had one of those things. I'm just sick to death of them. I like the old high nose diesels. I also can't stand the wide nose cabs, of the newer diesels. <br /> <br />My favorite engines are probably the high nosed GP 7s and 9s. I also really like the look of the C39-8. The arched cab roof, that's lower the hood section behind it, gives a neat hunchbacked look. <br /> <br />Steam never did anything for me, exept for the big articulateds. Those just had something that the other steamers lacked.
