Hi
Yesterday I received a trio of Santa fe GP60 made by Proto 2000. Exquisite detail and even more that I can add myself. But how and where ? None of the 3 boxes had any explanation sheet about those parts and the jigs that come along. Nothing on their web site.
Anyone has information about detailing a SantaFe GP60 (Freight) ?Thanks.

I unfortunately can't help you with the GP60's but I noticed the same thing with my three Proto SD60M's. They didn't have the roof drilling jig or the window jig like the standard cab SD60's.
I was glad I had kept them from those models, but even so a roof jig and a diagram in the instruction sheet would have been nice like the ones included with the SD60's.
I gotta say I had gotten kinda used to that handy feature with the SD60's and was alittle disappointed not to see them in the SD60M boxes.

Hi again
I found 2 sites that have thousands of pictures of Santa Fe locomotives; I did found photos of many GP60s from the same group I was interested about and have been able to see what the detail parts were representing and how they were located.
The first one is: http://www.qstation.org/abpr/atsf/atsf_emd.html
The other is:

Have a look
