Hard-to-find and Unusual N scale figures

Does anyone know of a source for hard-to-find or unusual N scale figures? I am looking for draft horses (also known as work horses, heavy horses, such as Clydesdales, Belgians, Shire, etc.) I would greatly appreciate any leads anyone may be able to offer.
Thanks.

This is probably a foolish suggestion, but maybe it's possible to use H0 scale ponies, and build up the ankles & feet a bit with plastic wood ?
Best regards / Mike
