Snowing off & on here today as usual, but it's above zero & not windy, so I'm happy. I'm getting itchy to get back out to the abandoned D&H roadbed where the dirt I'm using on my new layout lives. I suppose I could dig down through the snow and chip frozen blocks of dirt loose, but that seems like more work than I care do. A few years ago, March brought several storms that buried us in about 11 feet of snow. Die-hards were skiing Whiteface Mountain until mid-May. This winter is mild in comparison. Wayne (We have two seasons: Winter and the 4th of July.)
