Well, there is a lot of fluff that I don't read. Things like, "What kind of work do you do?" or "What music do you listen to?" and other similar so called polls that have shown up on here. To me they don't have anything to do with model railroading and, in some cases, are nobody else's business. On the other hand several of our participants seem to enjoy that kind of thing so why not ? Some of the legimate questions are posted by individuals who have just entered the hobby. They will ask something entirely different than the hobbiest who is trying to figure out how to adjust the valve gear on a Pennsy T-1 Duplex, for example. It's a hobby and this forum attracks all levels of interest and ability. Sometimes I see a quesiton posted that could have been answered by reading the papers that came in the box and that tends to irritate me, but to each his own. Cheers, Ed
