As is usually the case with every version of this poll, there are numerous options not listed. <br /> <br />There were other manufacturers of Diesel locomotives besides EMD and GE. I don't see any of the Alco units listed, nor any of the Fairbanks Morse units. I also did not see the early EMD (or EMC) units such as F units or E units. I think that diesel switchers were forgotten, too. Remember the NW & SW units? How about Dash 8's, U-boat and the Alco C units? What about the S-1, S-3, etc. What about the GP units above the GP 38? I am sure there are tons (literally) of others that I am also forgetting. Personally, (among lots of others) I like the GP 60, E6, SW 1200, FM H15-44 and Aclo PA1 & PB1(I have models of most of these).
