Simon, <br /> <br />It went for about $350.00 new, if memory serves me correctly. These kits are getting pretty insane. I'm sure the castings are great but at $1400.00, there are a lot of nice kits one could own. Heck you might even get Banta or Yorke to build you a custom kit at that price....Funny thing is that if it was built up it might fetch two or three hundred....Reminds me of 50's Stratocasters. <br /> <br />
