I fully believe the show didn't do it justice. As an engineer, I've worked on several products that have been on the television news. The reporter's story always gives you a bit of a chuckle. They observe, don't really know what they're observing, then create an interesting story out of it. Although they're usually trying to put a positive spin on things, they often miss what those in the field would consider the "important stuff". I'm sure this could have been the case with this model railroad story. In any case, it was way cool to see a model railroad on TV!!! They showed a shot of several MRR magazines, and I think they were hinting at the fact that this model railroad has been in them. I'd like to learn more about it.
