One of those Woodland Scenics layout kits? If so what were your thoughts on it?

A hobby shop here in Milwaukee has a small WORKING display part finnished part exposed. It was not all 1 kit but it was all there products. It dident look that bad, I've seen alot worse!! Remember as long as YOUR happy, thats all that matters! Also start 1 section at a time, then see where to go from there. I use sceanery from many different manufactures!! But it seems that Woodland has all the cool tools & products. Well I hope this makes you more comfortable!!!
Best of luck

I bought the WS layout kit for a 4 by 8 in HO. I am building in N. It saved me money. I saw the kit not as a 4 by 8, but a 2 by 16 started kit for my shelf type layout.

Thought about it for N scale, but the curves were tighter than 11 inch, and after seeing a review from a few years ago in MRR, looked like a lot more work and steps than I was ready for. But much simplier than a cookie cutter layout for elevations, etc. I'm more ready for flat track on roadbed, plywood, with some foam on that. I keep being tempted to buy the building kit packages... more than I can use in one fell swoop.
