Not to worry, Scalecoat II is still produced and available, the original poster just did not want to wait a seek or more for his LHS to get some in. As a matter of fact my LHS has the thinner for Both Scalecoats and Floquil in stock. <br /> <br />I have always been a proponent of only using thinners made by the paint manufacturer and not mixing them. Just my personal preference. <br /> <br />Rick
