I'm with you guys. When I looked at the magazine, I was thinking that I was surprised there weren't any pictures with dirt roads in them, since he made so much effort on the roads on his layout. Many of the minor roads around the California desert are dirt. When I saw the photo you guys mentioned, I thought "Yeah, that's what I was expecting." Like you guys, I am surprised it was not in the magazine!
