Is yours the newer plastic boilered version with the reduction gear, or the older metal boilered one? <br /> The red wire on the newer version does go to the wiper of the insulated drivers and the black wire should be grounded to the motor case. <br /> I can Email you a scan of the plastic boilered version exploded view and part list if you need it.
