In the past three months I have bought about 40 items on eBay. Only one purchase was badly packaged and the couplings were buckled as a result, but esily repaired. Most items have been extremely well packaged and very promptly delivered. <br />A monorail set was $13 less than the discounted advertised USA dealer price and I was very pleased with my purchase - until I found the same item advertised locally in Australia at less than half the price in the USA! It certainly pays to do some detective work before bidding! <br />As in any auction, the bidder has to decide beforehand what his maximum bid will be and NEVER go above it!
