[/quote] i wont roast you, at least not now, as i already had some snacks... but i must say that the Blue box diesels run great...and I have LOVED the "Athearn Growl" .... i havent had a problem with mine. who wants a quiet diesel? yes, i know, now we have sound systems to think about, ,, but i havent gone there yet--however i will be , so even though i love the blue boxes the writing is on the wall for them ! and yes the lighting is terrible. it seems that Atlas and Kato are up to #1 these days by popular vote,,,,but i have a BIG qualm with BOTH companies--they dont make all sorts of different designs! (not to mention no steam!!) Its great to have them in the market, but they dont put out as much stuff as the other guys---so many times you are forced to buy other brands! i wi***hose two firms would get busy! anything they put out would sell--we dont need snoot noses and dash-9s flooding the market by everyone,,make something more unique , guys (ironically, Atlas made one of the most bizarre moves---the Amtrak electric for NE corridor remember ? i LOVED that model but in a way, what the heck were they thinking??? they dont have to be that unique)
