I stained mine with "Flo-stain". I don't know if you can get it anymore but you could substute "Min-wax" from Lowes. Then I put an Alcohol/india ink wash on them to make them look cruddy. With the new CMR TT that I just finished, I painted them brown with a grimey black/wash overlay. If anyone is interested in a Diamond Scale TT let me know as I've got a second one that I'm probably never going to finish. teffy@pernet.net Bob
