I also am interested in your post, I can't imagine a 'new' mining operation in the Great lakes region. I'm not an expert but I'm a big DMIR fan and try to follow them closely. DeSchane is correct about CN taking over DMIR in summer of 2004. Unless GLM is taking over Reserve mining or LTV/Erie Mining operations I would be surprised. with the ore cars pictured It can't be LTV/Erie as they have a specialized Dock at Taconite Harbor which doen't accept the standard 24' ore jennie. <br /> <br />I'm very interested.
