Hm. $100- now? Pure demand. I managed to grab one of those floats recently. Had to snipe at 24 seconds to go with a great deal of money to get it from under the 8 or so that was fighting tooth and nail for it. The Barge is now 100- having 8 bids and listed approx 4 hours ago, the Float listed about the same time is already up to 11.00 It probably will pass 100- by midnight due to folks needing both kits together. With 6 days to go, this auction will be very profitable to the seller. Retail I think was 55- for barge and 40- for float. 100- total. Walthers should pay attention to these prices and make a second run of barges. I think they have NO idea the amount of pent up demand for these OOP items. If I wanted to put my barge and float on the Ebay I can gaurantee you that both will go for at least 100- almost instantly as this set already has for the seller. There is just way too much pent up demand from a large group of people who have tried in the past to get at least one of the set or the other. The prices will spiral on these items in the next few years. I predict there will be serious money spent as modelers sell barges and floats already assembled because they need to relocate or change the layout scene etc.
