I have used walthers 40foot UP boxcar that has cleaning pad under it. It has worked alright for me. I also weighted them and stretch the springs to give the pad more pressure on the tracks. Of course the old track eraser. My basement is the same. Thats the best I got, good luck. <br />p.s. Is your fleet made up of SD70Ms and SD40-2s. If not want do you model.
