Sometimes it's easy to spot a made up name, and other times it isn't. I was just curious as to how others came up with some of the names they did. Even in my short time here, I can already tell that there are many different "classifications" of modelers. I imagine there are some here who will toil for hours over detail and realism, while others name things after grandchildren and use birthdates and such as engine numbers. Personally, I'm kind of in the middle of the road. I'm a stickler for detail, but I also have 3 kids. I will be naming some of my future structures after each of them.
