question about a type of train

i am trying to find info on
QUEBEC NORTH SHORE & LABRADOR - QNS&L, #107 but i cant kind this model i am gettting all the other kind.

i am trying to find out the year it came out in and what year is the paint job on it?

Why not ask the seller? That is an unusual road name for a production model. Could it be a custom paint job? It may have started life as an undec.

I suspect it is one the owner painted for "his" railroad also. never heard of it before and the name doesn't ring true for a real railroad.

To me it looks like a custom painted Lifelike Proto 2000 GP7/9. But it being a Canadian paintscheme, it could have been made by Lifelike Canada.

QNS&L is a Canadian Railroad - the C&NW bought a lot of used GP7's from them in the 70's. Nice paint scheme as well. I suspect it is a factory paint job from Life-Like Canada......

it is from LifeLike Canada , unfortunately their website doesn't have photos and dosen't list the road number in the description of the model

list price for the GP-7 is $160.32 (canadian)

go to http://www.hobbycraft.com/home.php and enter quebec in the search box

you might have to get in touch with lifelike canada to find out when the model was produced
