i ruined a motor from lifelikes burkshire (n gauge) while attempting to instqll a sound decoder...i sent the motor to lifelike, explaining my problem and they returned a NEW motor to me, no charge, even paid the shipping !
real class, i will add lifellike to my shopping list...cheers...j.c.

They were kind enough to send me three (!) motors for my HO PAs last fall when I called and asked them about potential remedis for the "3A problem", at no charge, with expidited shipping. I was amazed. With the way their engines run (slow and strong) and the way their support responds (above and beyond the call) they have a customer for life :-)

I've had equally pleasant dealings with LifeLike -- not on replacement motors, but on replacement diesel engine trucks. I had a truck on an original BL-2 that is no longer in production develop a short circuit and get so hot that the plastic parts melted. LifeLike said they no longer had parts for the BL-2, but the truck looked exactly like the ones on their newer 4-axle diesels, so I asked them to send me a set of those. They did, for free, and they even paid the Priority Mail shipping charges.
A first-class company to deal with.

does lifelike have any other steam than the berk...really runs good...cheers...j.c.
